Happy Birthday to my Shawnie! At midnight tonight, it will officially be the 31st of January and my husband will be 32! I am one of the luckiest women in the world to have found such a kind, warm, confident, and loving man! Happy Birthday, hubbie!

I'm off to Bellingham, WA this Sunday! My childhood friend from 5th grade just had her second child...a little girl named Devyn Marie. I'll post pictures of the little squirt as soon as I can. I will miss my Shawnie while I'm gone!

Donalds, SC

Shawn's mom is engaged! Yippee! We just got back from visiting her and John in SC. We ate too much, drank too much, but had a great time. Donkey World was probably the highlight, other than dinner at Frankglen's! A gay couple have opened the restaurant in the small town of Greenwood, SC; not the easiest place to be homosexual, I'm sure. Let's just say we were a minority in this place! I hope it succeeds; the food was great and the ambiance was, too. I think everyone else in town ended up eating at Outback down the road. They missed out!
