Nursery and Belly! 39 weeks and 6 days....

38 weeks

Well, here we are, nearing the end. Today, I am 38 weeks and 3 days and ready to pop. I just went to the doctor and I have not really changed since last week....A little effaced but not dilated. I feel very tight, like I can't stretch my skin ANY more. Her head is down, though, which is good! Come one, Alice, we are ready for you!!!!

I know I haven't posted nursery pics, I need to figure out our new camera first. But trust me, it's CUTE as a button! Not too much pink, just the right amount. The walls are light green, the crib and changing table are white, and there's lots of pops of color from curtians, bedskirts, wall art, blankies, etc.

32 weeks!

I'm 33 weeks today, but here's a pic of me at 32 weeks. Knock on wood, I feel so great and everything seems to be going well. I've been fighting a cold over the weekend that I hope makes it's grand EXIT soon. Nursery is almost done! I am LOVING IT. I'll take a pic of it and post it soon when it's totally done. I had my first baby shower this past weeekend in Greensboro with 9 of my girlfriends and this weekend I have one with my high school girlfriends and some family. I feel so lucky and blessed. Of course I had a ball going through everything afterwards and beginning to organize it. :-)

Baby Bump!

This is a photo my friend took at work. I'm 25 weeks in this photo which everyone says look deceiving...maybe it's the tight shirt. I do look quite large, no? I'm 29 weeks now and apparently measuring perfectly. The doc said I'm having a pretty "boring " pregnancy, which is good! Keep it up, Alice! Her kicks are pretty darn strong now and Shawn can actually see them when I lie on the couch. It's so cool.

Expecting....

A Girl! We are so happy to say that we're expecting a baby. Her name will be Alice, for Shawn's maternal grandmother. And we just like the classic name! In this photo, I am 20 weeks and 2 days along. I'm due on April 19th. Things are really going great for us here lately. We are grateful for our many blessings. Shawn will soon be a Greensboro Firefighter...something that he's worked very hard for, and definitely a dream come true.

Best Friends

Sweet, sweet Bruno and Ellis are best buds and it's so cute. Ellis is huge now, but Bruno can really keep up during the wresting matches in the living room.

Halloween

Okay, I know it's way late to post Halloween pics, but here goes anyway. We got dry ice for the first time and put it in my "cauldron." The kids loved it. They also loved Shawn's fake legs stuck in the door. I was a "Spa Lady" and Shawn was a motorcycle due. I know, pretty lame. But no cost to us!
